The Poriu sports & Cultural Association is announced to organise the Poriu knockout Football Tournament 2024 is organised by Poriu sports & Cultural Association in collaboration with the Department of Sports Affairs, Government of Meghalaya through Yess Meghalaya.

The Poriu sports and cultural association has been set up for the rules and Regulation and prize distribution for the Tournament as Follows:-
Cash prize For the Champion – Rs 15000/-
Cash prize For the Runner up – Rs 10000/-
Joining Fees – Rs 700/-
Transfer Fees – Rs 250/-
Overlist – Rs 500/-
Ball – Rs 100/-
Jersey – Rs 100/-( In case, if particular team don’t have their own kits)
Other Important Points
Players consist only – 12 Players.
Substitutes – 3 Subs
The rest will follow the FIFA Rules.
The opening ceremony has been fixed but the tournament will be started on, probably in the 2nd week of November 2024.
