MLA Cup at Langdongdai 2023-24(Results and Fixtures?

The first ever biggest Football knock-out tournament in Nongtrai areas was organised by Development Committee Nongtrai known as the MLA Cup at Langdongdai.

The football Tournament was sponsored by Local MLA, Shri Remington Gabil Momin of Rambrai Jyrngam Constituency. The tournament was kicked off on 13 January 2024 with the presence of local MLA as the chief Quest of the day. The Football tournament was held at Langdongdai Mawkuru B playground. During the opening of the Tournament, Sangriang Dkhar, the dominant team destroyed Nongtrai Area Football Club by a huge margin of 6-0 at the final whistle while Mangsang Fc defeated Misei Fc by tiebreaker after both scored 2-2 at the final whistle.

The history and significance of the IFA Shield, one of India’s oldest football competitions, organised by the Indian Football Association (IFA) in West Bengal. Evolution of the Tournament


The IFA Shield Football Tournament made some changes from 2015 to 2018 as the tournament transformed into a youth tournament, opening its doors to youth teams across divisions.
