The first ever biggest Football knock-out tournament in Nongtrai areas was organised by Development Committee Nongtrai known as the MLA Cup at Langdongdai.
The football Tournament was sponsored by Local MLA, Shri Remington Gabil Momin of Rambrai Jyrngam Constituency. The tournament was kicked off on 13 January 2024 with the presence of local MLA as the chief Quest of the day. The Football tournament was held at Langdongdai Mawkuru B playground. During the opening of the Tournament, Sangriang Dkhar, the dominant team destroyed Nongtrai Area Football Club by a huge margin of 6-0 at the final whistle while Mangsang Fc defeated Misei Fc by tiebreaker after both scored 2-2 at the final whistle.

- The winner will awarded Rs 50000/- in cash.
- The Second Runner up will be awarded Rs 20000/- in cash.
How many teams Participated at MLA Cup?
The MLA Cup 2023-24 held at Langdongdai was participated by many clubs including personally owned Football clubs. When we take into numbers, there are 24 football clubs from different localities of Nongtrai Areas and from other areas.
